KDrama Review: Cinderella and the Four Knights (Spoiler Free)

IMG_2084[1].PNGAlright! So I finally finished Cinderella and the Four Knights. I will start by saying that I did enjoy this show. It was a cute little romance about the poor girl and the rich guy falling in love. I knew after the first episode who she would end up with in the end. That’s beginning to frustrate me just a little bit. I’m not complaining about how it ended up because it definitely made sense but I would LOVE to see a drama that has the girl fall for the guy who you don’t expect.

This is about a girl, Eun Ha Won who has been raised by her step mom and step sister mainly, since her father works a lot. But she is forced to work several part time jobs to make money to go to college as her family does not have the money to pay for it. That is, until she is sought out by the chairman of a huge company. He asks for Ha Won to live in the same house as his three grandsons and try to make them into a family despite them hating each other.

This drama had me laughing and had me crying. There were some parts that the two main characters should have pieced together long before they did. It was pretty obvious and something they would have talked about long before they did. It all just seemed to be rushed in the last episode.

I loved the opening. It reminded me a lot of my husband. He loves Lego and the entire opening video was Lego. It was simple yet complex at the same time. Very well done!

Overall, I did enjoy this drama as another cliché rich boy/poor girl romance. If that’s what you’re looking for, this is for you. If you want something more in depth and unpredictable, I’d skip this one for now.
