Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children Review

As you can tell, this is a review of Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. This is a story of a boy, Jacob, who goes to an island that his grandfather told him stories about to find out if the stories he was told are true or not. Obviously, they are real. I don’t count this as a spoiler because this was given away not only in the synopsis but also if you know anything about this book (um, refer to the title).

I enjoyed this book. I didn’t absolutely adore it but I did enjoy reading it. I am excited to see the movie now to see what kind of spin they take on it. I cannot wait to finish reading the series, either. This book is left on a cliffhanger and I just want to know what happens! I own Hollow City so I plan on adding that to my TBR for November.

I gave this book 4 stars because it was definitely good but there were some things in the story that I didn’t quite understand. They weren’t part of the plot and didn’t take away from the story but there were a few things that I didn’t get. I could have looked them up but like I said, they didn’t take from the story so it was fine to just ignore them. Let me know what you all thought of this book and please keep it spoiler free unless you message me privately through email, Twitter DM, or Instagram messages. Thank you for reading and I’ll post links for this book and contacting me below.
