I just completed reading Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco. I have to say, I absolutely adored this book.
When I first started it, I wasn’t too sure. I loved the writing style but I couldn’t seem to get into it. I’m not blaming that on the book, though. I work full time from 10pm to 7am and I am a full time mom of a one year old – fifteen months to be exact. So I don’t seem to really sit down and read without any interruptions. By the time I finally got to that point, I was near the end of the book. And I flew through the rest. I couldn’t put it down.
I can’t even express how much I love this book. The fact that I finished this book and I loved it as much as I did means so much to me. I haven’t enjoyed a book like I enjoyed this one in so long it’s shocking. But that’s a whole different story that I will tell in a different post!
The twists and turns that this book has are just phenomenal. I’m not going to lie. I was going to give this book a lower rating but the ending is what really pushed this book over the edge for me. I gave it 5 stars on GoodReads. It was gruesome and wonderful all in one (I hope these reviews get better with the more that I do).
I found out the biggest thing on page 251 of the 318. I was freaking out on break at work but I couldn’t say anything until I got into the car with my husband because a girl I work with wants to read this once she finishes all of James Patterson’s books.
I absolutely cannot wait for the next couple books of this series and anything else that will be released by Maniscalco. Let me know what you all thought about this book and let me know what you want me to read next!
